KLS Racing gets out the checkbook for ICC Pole sitters in the Snap-on Stars of Karting presented by the IRL
Seattle, WA- The fastest qualifiers in the elite ICC class of the Snap-on Stars Series will see an increase in income in 2005 thanks to KLS Racing. The KLS GP Maxter Pole Award will provide a value of $250 to each driver who ends up on P1 for all 2005 ICC races. KLS Racing will write a check of $125 to each pole sitter as well as issue a $125 gift certificate.

Scott Jeffery of KLS Racing thought up the idea for the award, "We really wanted to do something special to stand out from the crowd and reward some of the top racers." Jeffery's partner Rob Soares agreed, "This program was put together to show the commitment we have to top-level karting and our need to have a presence in the elite series." Snap-on Stars series marketing director Jeff Swoboda was equally impressed with the way KLS came forward with this type of plan, "You've got to realize that this award is not contingent on running any certain make or product and will be awarded at every single round this season. The investment KLS is making in these racers is significant and we give them a lot of credit for that."
